I got my photos back and scanned them today. I stuck them on a Web page at http://216.156.108.30/tfl/default.htm if you want to take a look.

Those are some nice critters you've got there!

I agree with your aesthetic values on rack dimensions too.

Congratulations!!

Foolish me - I would have thought Pronghorn were too skittish to get with a bow. Congrat's, Ankeny. How long were your shots on the Pronghorn and the Mulie?

Jeff:

Pronghorn are easier to get with a bow than mule deer if you shoot them from a blind. I have shot pronghorn at 8 yards over water holes from blinds. In fact, I will get a dozen shots at a mature buck pronghorn for every one decent shot at a mule deer.

The pronghorn was taken at 35 yards and that is a terribly long shot for me. If it wasn't for a strong wind and unusual terrain I never would have had the opportunity.

The deer was taken at 15 yards. I was working a bull elk when I looked up and there was the deer. Just plain luck...no skill, no spot and stalk, just dumbed into it.

BTW: The Brook Trout is 32 inches and is a potential line class world record. Not too many fisherman on TFL are there?
