Spring Cleaning
Somebody local was doing some Spring Cleaning and came upon a Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun. Says it brought back a lot of bad memories and so he wants to get rid of it. No bayonet or sling....Anybody know what its worth?

Hi Flipper,
Make sure it is not a repro, there are some Norinco knock offs out there. Best, Rob |

Need pics. If he wants to get rid of it that bad it isn't worth much to him so you ought to get a great deal.

Value is from about $400-$500 for a shooter to $2000-$3000 for ANIB. Most are understandably towards the lower end of the spectrum.

Thanks one and all, he called and says he found a 16 gauge as well. I never even heard of a 16 gauge trench gun I thought the military was 12 gauge or nothing.......
