I am a happy member of the High Road, but mainly lurk here on occasion as I can't keep up with two boards.

Went there when this one quit. Come back here when there is down and sometimes when I'm bored.

Bit like John ..... most time at THR but slip by here when I can. Always a time thing.

I lurked on TFL for ages and about when I was thinkin of joining up ... it quit and THR started so - THR became #1 home.

Still feel I am among friends over here tho.

Good to hear that Scott ... I still think they make an excellent pair ... very similar feel all in all ... and as .45's go - I reckon my P97 is every bit as ''useful'' as any 1911 I have used.... ''fugly'' doesn't bother me!!

A little of this, a little of that.

I found this place fairly early on, realy enjoyed my time here. I went over to THR when this place went dormant, but was very happy to see it return. So far, I find I still post more over at THR, but have been lurking here and am pleased to see it isn't too redundant. SF, SG

That's good to know; I'll have spend a little more time here. I find time is hard to allocate amongst the sites I visit, but Rich was first with the best. Nice to see the membership numbers growing so much.

This place was closed when I first started checking out the gun boards. Same name on several boards.

Both places appeal, it's the time available that limits my visits....

"fallingblock" here first, then there, now here again.

Hello, my name is Steelharp (Mikey D...), and I am suffering from SERious THR withdrawl! I got into the game late with TFL, just before it closed, so THR became home, and still is... but this is nice, too...

Another THR member here - when I started in 1911 Forums and THR this board was closed. Now I'm glad to add to the "perusal" list and come by from time to time. Seems the longer THR is down the more I come here!

THR didn't like me and banned me. Even after I explained the issue. Oleg is a great guy, but lets just say some of the other admins aren't very tolerant of opposing views (I'm extremely pro-gun, just not a Republican/Right Wing person). And that's the end of that.

It's not just you, I haven't been able to get onto THR for about a day and a half. I also on THR and here, I rarely post on either though.

I am on both, but more there than here.

The more THR/TFL sites the better!

Lurker here, member on THR.

I mainly come here for more in-depth information, and THR for more opinions/views. Both here and THR are quite useful to me, although I never post here.

I've mainly only posted on THR because I didn't need another message board to read while I should be doing other things, but it looks like Frances is changing that

I have the same screenname here and there. And for the record, my real name is Nick, not nico. Nico is a high school nickname with an uninterresting story behind it.

Well - No wonder!

I have asked where El-Tejon and Smoke is around here in some recent posts. Been referring to them and other folks, poking fun and such.

Hey - when you get older, you too can forget where you are.

You know what else - My Cisco username and password will not allow me to log on to TFL either.

You whippersnappers go play out in the Freeway or something.

I have to go take a Cisco exam now...I sure hope there is at least a few questions on shotguns or something....

I enjoy both but tend to gravitate more to THR simply because that's where I started and I kinda like the layout a little more.
