Browning A5 Light or Beretta 391 Extrema
I love my Browning. I like the mechanical recoil "feel". The gun is as solid a performer as I have ever owned.
I picked up a Beretta 391 Extrema. Smooth and silk shooter. I've only run a few hundred rounds through it, but it seems to be every bit as reliable a shooter as the Browning ... only much lighter. Do I keep both or sell the Browning? The Browning will most certainly sit in the back of the safe for long periods of time. But the thought of selling it is like saying good bye to an old girlfriend. Very few of my small collection do I have an emotional attachment to. |

Keep both guns, the Browning won't set in the safe as much as you think.

If nothing else, it will serve as a good back up or loaner gun. I would keep it around. In a year or two if you find you haven't shot it at all, then let it go. Give it a good cleaning and waxing then park it in the safe for a while.

Unless you need the money keep it. Nothing wrong with having a back-up gun.

Keeping both is an option, although room in my safe is at a premium.
Tough spot to be in eh? |

Keep both. Right now it could seem practical to sell the A5 but you'll regret selling in seconds if you do.

I suspect you would be correct.
