went deer hunting..and shot a turkey
i was deer hunting and spotted some turkey at about 50yds walked a little further and one was standing infront of me at about 3yds!!! dropped it, 8in beard

congrats... Ain't ya glad you used the patience so hard to find... So were you on the ground or in a blind? If in a blind I bet he was pinned to the ground.

You've got to take those shots when you get a chance. I drew on a nice big tom the first year I ever bow hunted. I decided not to shoot because I didn't want to scare any potential deer with all the commotion. If I had only known how hard it is to draw on a turkey! I've tried like 5 times since then and been busted every time.

i was just walkin along and there he popped out of the brush, i have never really hunted out of a blind usually still hunt or spot and stalk, i had a turkey tag layin around so why not
