What are you getting for HK Days?

I know it's been making the rounds now, but not all of you may be aware of the HK Days promotion that is starting in a couple of days.

HK is offering a $200 rebate on any of their guns purchased between November 1st and December 31st, excluding the VP9 and (I think) the Mark23.

The rebate is good for the USP series, P-series, HK45 sites, MR rifles, etc.

I'm going with the HK45 Compact Tactical model myself. I've already got it on layaway, ready to pay it off on Saturday to qualify for the rebate.

Anyone else taking advantage of this?

To my knowledge it does not apply to the P2000/sk, so the whole P-series is not covered.

Seems that you are correct. I didn't realize. Ah well... it's still a great opportunity.

Buy 3 USP's and get a free VP9!
(Or a USP, a P30, and an HK45 and get a free VP9!)

Here's the rebate coupon on hk-usa.com

Loving the coupon. Makes HKs competitive with so many other manufacturers. Makes the question of "if not HK, then what?" kind of meaningless in a way. Gotta find out what the deal is with first responder / Le / military discounts added in.

Looking at an HK45C or HK45C tac or a P30 in 9mm or .40. Honestly, I am not sure I can miss here.

Really, what we need is a thread for the best going retail prices for HK to apply the coupon to...

Sadly there's nothing I want that I don't have.

Why do these things always come around at the worst times. I am still hurting from my AR build that went almost $500 over budget, and I still need optics. I hate putting things on the credit card, but I may have to for this since I really want a USP45, and $200 savings on a brand new gun is nothing to scoff at.

I want a P30L very badly. Unfortunately, I am tapped out even with the rebate. I am not willing to part ways with anything I have currently.

Rebates are wonderful. I just deposited the $50 rebate check from my kids Savage youth rifle. Great selling point.

I would love another USP Compact but even with the rebate I don't think I could afford a new one.

Where was this deal when I bought my P-30? Taking $200.00 off is a pretty good deal.

Yea I know, it's just the sad truth. But who knows, will probably convince myself to buy something before it ends.

I have never owned an HK, but I have wanted to buy a USP for a few years. Now if only I can save up the cash before the end of the year.

Thinking of an HK USP Compact 9MM but not sure. When I looked at it at LGS I don't think it is that much smaller than my P30LS or VP9 for concealment on me.

My P30LS and VP9 conceal really well for me in my Aliengear IWB holster.

Still for me it would be hard not to get NEW USP Compact for around $600.

A Ruger Commander size 1911?

Sorry, I don't like HKs.

I would say definitely go for it. While I love my P30, the USP compact is definitely easier to conceal. It's just an all around great shooter too.

I wasnt aware Aliengear came out with shells for the VP9 yet. Does the VP9 work with your P30L shell?

I want and HK45 Tactical, Mark 23, and a P30L. Even with the rebate, there probably will be none of the above for me.

I don't have a VP9, but I have AG for the HK45 and it works great for the P30L, P30, and HK45 Compact. I'm sure one for the P30L would work for the VP9 - at the very least, close enough to be usable until you get a dedicated holster.

Is the only difference between the hk45 and hk45t the sights and the barrel?
Seems like an extra $300 is a bit high of that's the case (at least for someone who doesn't have a suppressor, or any concrete plans to get one).
Also, how big is the grip?

Christmas is coming up after all, and I would like to have a 45.

You're gunna' love it. I have the 45C (non-tac) and it's the nicest mid size .45 I've ever fired. To me it's softer shooting than a 1911 even though it's quite a bit lighter.

I'm hoping to get a USP compact 9mm. I would like to get a P2000 to match my 45C, but there's no manual safety available. Besides, I like the look of the USP series. Pure German over-engineering.
