Browning Buckmark Medallion

I am trying to help a friend that doesn't have a computer find a part for his Browning Buckmark. He needs the medallion that goes on the grip. According to Browning this gun was made in 1990. The medallion on it has the deer head and is gold in color. Everywhere that I know to look lists a medallion but sayd new style. The new style seems to be a dark color instead of gold. Does anyone know where he can get the original gold one?

The one Brownells shows is this one. http://www.brownells.com/handgun-par...7.aspx?ttver=1

It's darker colored just like the one he got from Midway. However, the one on the other side of the gun looks like this.

It is a lighter colored medallion.

Another member on another forum said the old style Medallion was a "B" so if he had the one with the deer head it probably was just worn down. Do you guys think this is the case or are the older ones lighter? He just didn't want to lower the value of his gun a ton by not having it look original if he changed to the darker ones.

He also gave Browning a call and they told him the only ones they were darker colored and the best bet was to look for a used one.
