Choosing a light for the gun

HI Guys,

We are doing night shooting soon at the outdoor range.

A. I could take my Mag light and hold it sort of tactically with my left hand and hold the gun (xd9) with my right hand.

B. I could shell out $230. for a Insight M6.

C. I could find some tactical light that fits the rail for less.

Any ideas?

Much obliged,

Max

Handhold a Surefire G2 for under $40. I ran a couple night matches with one attached to my shotgun, and it has held up. And, those were "birdshot is for sissies" matches with all 00 buck.
