It seems up to speed to me.

It could be a GWB scandal though!

It's getting painfully slow, but then frees up for a few minutes...

So maybe not so much the server as the web itself?

Right about when Pointer posted, it was as slow as frozen molasses, but it's fine now. At the same time this happened, THR was just fine.

I'm moving this thread to the Tech Questions area.

This has been the cause of many duplicate posts in the recent past. Perhaps sensop can explain it better than I could.

I ended up with three posts in one thread - by accident. It also kicked in slow and went dead today. Fortunately, I learned from the last time and didn't try to repost. It finally went through but damn it's a bitch trying to post here these days. I also had trouble trying to use the page, look at the posts, etc. At least I know it's not just me....

Same Here

My navigation of this site is often very slow too. I have no such problems with other websites.

Browsing is good, but posting seems TARFU.

There are a lot of triple and quadruple posts out there.

Behind-the-scenes changes are underway to relieve this problem. Hopefully the current slowness won't last more than a couple more days.

Please have patience.
