Benelli Nova SP/GR pump/reliablity longterm?

I noticed these when they first came out and thought they looked interesting, but wondered about longterm durability. I wonder if anyone with any longterm use can let us know how they've held up.

Well, I am far short of long term use, but I have 800 rounds through my SP with no problems to date..

A friend of mine who's a devoted SC shooter beat one to pieces after approx. 25,000+ rounds. Benelli sent him a new one through his local dealer.
