CFE Pistol Powder

I have been looking for any pistol powder for several months and finally ran into a store with a lot of CFE pistol powder. Anyone using it? I need to get a load for major power factor for USPSA in 40 s&w using 200 grain coated bullets. I have an STI 2011 so will be loading long, probably around 1.18. Any ideas?

I recently bought some when I gave up on finding 231. I shot some .380's yesterday. Seemed a bit snappy but was very clean. I think it may be a good one. As I recall, 3 gr. for .380. 4 for 9mm and 5 for .45. I don't shoot .40's and did not look it up.

I really like CFE Pistol. It is very clean - and fast. I can't help you with a recommendation as I don't shoot anything that heavy in 40.

Does CFE really prevent and remove old copper fouling like Hogdgen says it does?

I shoot 90% only lead bullets so I'll never know.

I ran into some and ran a test run.

6.2Gr for my 45ACP behind a MO Bullets 200 Gr LSWC. Makes power and a little to spare.

Do not like it as well as the now-extinct WST I like to load.

I haven't seen WST in ages. Is it actually discontinued or just impossible to find? (I know, what's the difference, right? lol)
