.357 Mag bulk ammo
Trying to get opinions on the best value on bulk .357 Mag ammo and where to order... Have heard iffy reviews on Bitterroot Valley 357. Ok but dirty and sometimes lighter loads. What has been your experience and preference?
CTD? Midway? Somewhere else? What brand have you liked for bulk .357? Thanks for the opinions.

www.mastercast.com is the best deal I have found for bulk .357 ammo. It is loaded a little on the light side, but it burns cleans and is fairly accurate. They do a brass exchange deal where if you send them your empty brass they'll give you a significant discount on loaded ammo, so save your empties and send it to them in a Fedex flat rate box. Last time I checked .38 spl wadcutters were about $10/box and .357 was $15/box

I've not used BVA .357's, but I have used their 5.56, .44 specials and .44 magnums and been pretty happy with them.

Yep, 357 magnum is very easy to load and you can load it much cheaper than you can buy it.

I'm reloading 100 38 Specials for less than the cost of 100 CCI Mini-Mags with my own cast boolits. I haven't did the math on 357s, j frame only here.

Don't take offense, but it's just so easy to go on line and take short cut's! I think you can read between the lines from a true ammo hunter, I'm always looking up for good deals. And yes I don't reload,......YET! Some day.... Good deal's? You are my competition. |

As per above.
I know, I've been saving all my one time .357 shell's just to do business with them. Got about 5000+. |

Mastercast is now out of the ammunition business but will still be casting bullets:

You can pick up very high quality Swiss RWS .357 Mag in bulk online, although I've never seen it in a local store. Sellior & Bellot makes good basic loads, also.
