Rossi Model R243?

Im looking for a decently cheap, but reliable rifle to get and I found this particular rifle. I was wondering if anyone owns one and could tell me how well it works and if its reliable. Any help would be appreciated.

No go for me

I couldn't tell you about that model. But I bought a Rossi 45-70 Rio Grande. It was garbage. Among many problems it was sharp, unfinished in many areas and would actually cut you. Took it apart and was completely rusted inside. Sight was so wrong I had to take it to a gun smith. Best friend bought a Rossi 357 that the cylinder literally fell out of. I was un-biased and thought I'd give Rossi a try. Fool me once. Plus their customer service was HORRIBLE. Just my opinion
