Canada Moose Hunt

Some relatives of mine are going on a moose hunt this fall in Newfoundland. We need some information, however. If a hunter is bringing meat back into the United States, does he have to accompany the meat, even though it has all of its proper tags and licenses? So, could he send it with part of the group driving home while he would fly home?

To the best of my knowledge, you can ship it.

If this is a guided hunt the guide can give them the 411.
