anyone know about the krist .45 acp cylineders?

Hi all- I saw on the krist konverter site that they offer a .45 acp cylinder for the 58 remmy- anyone got experience with this? I feel it could be a great way to save money on ammo as acp is way cheaper than .45 colt- however, I am forced to assume it does not require a lead bullet, ie would be fine with standard jacketed ball ammo? and since there is no "blackpowder" .45 acp ammo I would guess it is fine with standard non +p stuff - basicly I am trying to make sure this is not a niche thing for some obscure group of handloaders, and that it will happily eat .45 winchester white box......

I would contact krist, I'm sure they have done substantial testing.

sorry it took so long- but I got around to calling them, and was told that any factory ammo under 1000 fps would work, but to stay away from the jacketed stuff as it really decreased barrel life....... so maybe a cheaper route than the .45 colt as far as ammo goes.....
