Is there an appropriate forum for survival conversation?
I have been away for a few years and getting back into guns, knives, archery, and such. I was wondering if there was an appropriate forum to post questions and conversation dealing with "stuff hitting the fan" type conversations?

No, that's a topic that's frowned upon here. The closest you're going to get is the annual zombie forum that opens up around Halloween.
The mods here like to keep the forum strictly firearms-related. There are plenty of other forums on the web that discuss survival and SHTF topics.

Part of the problem is that SHTF and TEOTWAWKI topics have a strong tendency to be an outlet for those who want to talk about killing/shooting people but who don't want to be bothered with considering legalities and consequences.
Since that is the opposite of responsibility, it conflicts with the stated purpose of TFL which is "...the discussion and advancement of responsible firearms ownership."
