Reliable 45 acp

All the problems appear to be from manufacturers trying to outdo each other to attract customers. I bought a Para GI45SS; basic, reliable and easy to handle. Rock Island Armory has a great reputation. Again, just a basic 45 with no frills or pretense to be something it is not. also not expensive.

Combat Commander

I have owned several .45 ACP pistols over the years but I "grew up" with a Combat Commander. It has been throated and polished, will feed any ammo in any order and has never malfunctioned even in extreme conditions. I will say I had a Sig 220 and really liked it as well but old habits are hard break. If I could not reach my Remington 870 my go to weapon is the Commander.
