Beretta semi's - 3901 vs. 390
Can someone tell me the difference between these models? I have read something about a "magazine cut off" but I am not familiar with that term. I think it is something on the left side of the receiver.
Thanks, Mike

I have the AL 390 Sport (or sporting?) model.
it has a mag cut-off on the left side of the reciever. This less-than-essential device lets you eject the loaded shell from the chamber and replace it with another without cycling thru the magazine. I've never used it. my old belgian Browning Auto 5s have same feature. never used it on them either. |
