Savage model 69RXL field strip and cleaning
Have this shotgun, have had it for 45 years..shot maybe 100 rounds thru it, never have taken it apart for cleaning. A google search for this showed nuthin..anybody have a video of how to do it?
TIA Never mind, found one and OMG, think I'll pass..looks complicated.

Field stripping a pump gun involves removing the barrel and nothing else. There's no reason to take out trigger groups, etc.
However, there is this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI9CDq3qelg

That's the one I found..lotsa disassembly to get to barrel...talking to a local gunsmith to see
-should it be serviced? It works just fine. -or leave it alone..I shoot it to make sure it works, little else. Home defender..
