9mm bbl for 7.62 Tokarev?
Hello-
I read recently that there is a 9mm bbl available for use in a Tokarev T33 7.62 frame. The site describes this conversion as "easy" except that "minor adjustments may be required" (there is also a special magazine required). Do you have any experience in this conversion from a 7.62 bbl to a 9mm bbl? I would think that the barrel bushing might have too much gap when used with the 7.62 bbl, if it is fitted for 9mm barrel usage as well. Heard anything about this? Thanks in advance for any help.

The Germans converted many thousands with just a barrel change. The original magazine should work OK.
The barrel bushing is no problem as the outside diameter of the barrels is the same. Jim |
