.30 cal WSS
Has anyone ever thought about the possibility of building a .30 cal. based on the WSSM action. I thought about it a year ago due to how much I loved the feel of the little model 70 featherweight in .25 WSSM. Very short bolt stroke and just a whippy handling little woods rifle. The A-bolt would be fine as well. I believe the case is here to stay at least in .223. It might be very, very accurate, super efficient, and .308 diameter. I would not call it a magnum, just as I don't think Winchester should have. I think it would approximate the .308 Win.

I can't believe there isn't anyone here saavy enough to have thought this one up. I posted it on another forum and immediately had a reply. Of course the only one to reply was a MAJOR manufacturer of WORLD CLASS accuracy rifles. I guess I'm not that surprised since no-one replied here. Is anyone accuracy crazed. Come on boys, this is America, someone has to be able to shoot. I'm just an old farm boy, tell me you're storys.
