RCBS dies plus a question

I have a set of RCBS carbide dies for the 44 mag and 44 special.I don't have the owner's manual for the die set.Question,what is the big spacer used for when setting up the die ?It measures .126 " thick.

It Is Used To Adjust The Expander Die And Seating-crimping Die

From 44SPL adjustments to 44MAG settings. Those two cases are ostensibly 125" different in their lengths.

Thanks for the come back Wil.I thought it was used for that reason but wanted to make sure.After taking the dim.,it should have hit me like a rock.That was one of those" Da" questions.
