Longshot in .380?

I'm planning on getting some longshot to try in .41 mag & 9mm. Just wondering if it would work in .380. Just wanted to throw that idea out there & see what ya'll thought. Hope I'm not asking a stupid question.

there are no 'stupid ques' when it comes to handloads. that said I've never used 'Longshot' at all. I use Bullseye for all .380acp load cast and jacketed.

I have worked up overloads in 9x19mm, 9x23mm, 10mm, and 40SW with LONGSHOT.
I have split the cylinders of two 38 specials and one 32 S&W Long with LONGSHOT.

I have never worked up in 380 [9x17mm] with LONGSHOT, but I have worked up lots of overloads in 380 to see how much power I can get.

To get power out of large heavy, well supported chamber 380s, I like Power Pistol and 158 gr.

To get power out of light weight, or poorly supported 380s, I like Power Pistol and 90 gr Gold Dot or 110 gr XTP and 800X.

WHat does it all mean?
LONSHOT will work, but it is not quite as good as Power Pistol or 800X.
