Hogdon 'Lil Gun' powder - Anyone loading with this?

I picked up a can for my 22 Hornet loads, and it functions very well with low chamber pressure for max loads, but I'd like to know what other calibers of rifle and pistol loads people are using this powder in.

Hodgdon Lil' Gun is the hot ticket in the 10 ML - the muzzleloader from Savage designed to shoot smokeless powder. Recommended powders include V-V N110, IMR 4227, and 2400. But Lil' Gun is proving to be the best. -- Kernel

Whoda thunk...

Smokless in a front-stuffer
Must be at least 50cal...toe low pressure the powder generates for volume used must be the main reason. Now I wonder if it would do as well in BP cartridge loads.

I heard it is supposed to work well in .45 Colt, heavy loads for Rugers, but I haven't tried it yet.

With Lil Gun the Savage 10ML is capable of 2500 fps shooting saboted 300gr .45 cal pistol bullets. Energy at the muzzle approaches .375 H&H factory loads. Don't even think about trying this in any other muzzleloader, the Savage is proofed at 92,000 psi (just like the centerfire guns). -- Kernel
