HyScore E-Muffs?
Does anybody here have any experience with the HyScore 6 channel e-muffs?
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemD...px?sku=EAR-111 Mixed reviews for sure, but the idea is sound. I like the 31dB attenuation rating, as it's better than my standard muff rating of 29 on my Silenzio Magnums. I always double up with plugs, so I'm starting to feel a need for electronics to heighten the normal sounds. Anybody here?

I looked at those too. Apparently they don't have enough foam sound deadening material and the 31nrr is VERY optimistic according to a few reviews I've read. Also the multi mic setup doesn't really give you a true surround sound effect.
Looked at reviews on the Peltor 7S and a few others that I can't afford. I had the Radians Maximus 4-channels for a while until they crapped out, but it had true stereo as I could pick out sounds behind me or to the side. NRR was similar to my Howard Leight muffs. Hopefully they improved since mine was made. |
