Anybody could tell me something about my Dad's revolver. He doesn't know anything about it himself, he is not that enthusiast. He just bought it merely for self defense. I doubt if he has put 500 rounds through it. He acquired it new way, way back.

Its caliber 22, with engraving on the right side just under the hammer, ASTRA-UNCETA Y Cia. S.A. GUERNICA - SPAIN CADIX. Under the wheel near the trigger, MADE IN SPAIN CAL .22. It has a five digit serial number with the first two digits starting with 54...

Two inch snub nose with wooden grip with Astra logo and a 9 shooter (LR).

TIA.

A quick check of the Stand Catalog and the Blue Book shows the Astra Cadix D/A Revolver w/ only a 4" or 6" bbl., adj. sights, blue, plastic grips. 9-shot in .22, 5-shot in .38 Spl. Made 1960-68. Exc. cond. either $200 or $165 depending on the book. I'll look around some more after another cup of coffee. John

Rather quick reply. My old man's selling it to me for $125. I want to buy it for my wife. She already passed her firearms seminar. Gonna grab some shut eye and check your post tomorrow.

Thanks.
