Old MEC 12g Press
Sorry if this doesnt belong here but i was hoping some of y'all might be able to tell me what this is worth. A friend gave it to me awhile back and i'm looking to get rid of it but have no idea what it is worth,i just want a fair price before i list it. It is in good condition and the parts are all in working order, has the 2 powder bottles that screw in on the top. The powder jugs were just old ones that he had that came in the box with the press. Thanks alot for any input.

New it’s about $155, it looks in good/fair shape with no parts missing so about $125 or so. Put it on e-bay and you might do better.

Yours looks like a Mec 600 jr. If it is, looks like the average completed listing selling price on the auction site is around $80 and $20 shipping.

Looks like a 600 jr. old model. The new ones are the mark 5. Is the spring and primer platform in the prime station? Those parts are loose and most times get lost. The spent primer cup is nowhere to be seen in that pic,(it's a plastic tray that hooks under the screw under the platform).
You should be able to get between 75 and 100 bucks. But why sell it? Get some more stuff, then get busy, load some shotshells!

That old of a version is worth more like $50. I can buy used newer versions for $75 all day long; adding shipping would make it too high-priced. Try your local Craig's List, or the bulletin board at your local trap/skeet club

Now, those old powder cans might be worth an equal trade for a newer used MEC. 600

I was beginning to think I was the only one finding the two lower powder tins interesting.
