unlabeled reloads at auction

I was at an auction where a lot of 7mm mag reloads were sold. They were unlabeled. I think about 120 rounds and sold for about $45.

Would anyone do this? I assume the buyer was planning to pull them and reload, but at that price I am not sure it was much of a deal. I thought hardly anyone shot others reloads, and certainly not unlabeled ones from an estate auction. I can't believe the auctioneer even sold them.

The concern over the condition of the wallet overcomes common sense again

Not me!!! I definitely do not shoot anyone else's reloads unless I know the person and the quality of his/her reloads very well!

I've shot thousands of reloads over the years but always by someone I knew and trusted all BUT once! That once I paid for with screwed up shotgun.....so never again.

They weren't manufactured for sale, they were manufactured to shoot. Apparently the manufacturer (and intended shooter) went to the Great Firing Range in the Sky before he got a chance to use them.

"...Would anyone do this?..." Some people just don't know any better. Mind you, $45 for the brass and bullets alone is cheap. 100 pcs of new Remington brass runs $49.99 from Midway. 100 Hornady 164 grain bullets runs $24.49. Hopefully, the buyer will pull 'em and load them himself, but you never know.

Some guy you never saw before sees you on the street and says "eat this"; would you do it?

Same scenario but this time he says "Give me $45 and eat this." Same question.
