My First gun purchase

After numerous Google searches, lots of reviews, interaction on this forum. I finally made my first handgun purchase.
Taurus PT709 slim

Hope to have a range report tomorrow.

wow that is a little thing. Will you be using it for CCW carry? That's a good gun for CCW.

Yes it will be for ccw, take the class early next month.

Was going to also get a Ruger P95 but not a one in town.
Hopefully in next couple weeks

You will love the P95. It is a great deal for $300-330. Be sure to clean it and lube it before going to the range.

Been shooting my dad's P95 and really like it.
Also looking at a sig 250 but the wife is set on the Ruger, she's a new shooter and is more comfortable with the thumb safety. As long as she's comfortable she'll shoot more.

When we first met she didn't like the idea of my shotguns in the house, now she wants her own gun. What a difference 10 yrs makes

I'll get my Sig next time

looks like no range time today.
I have a range out my backdoor, but with 30mph wind in my face, I'll wait.
