SCCY CPX-2
Just picked up a new SCCY CPX-2 (gen. 2) and was curious what you CPX owners have found to shoot well in it - also what should be avoided. I did a search and found quite a few threads regarding this pistol, but not much on what ammunition it likes. I like using 115 gr. ball for break in on others and assume that this would be similar, yes? Thanks.

bonefamily, please keep us all updated on not only what ammo works well, but holster choices etc. I've determined that this will be my next purchase and have heard others say the same.

Will do, scrubcedar. I am scheduled to qualify for my cc permit March 23rd (next available class) so I am taking some time to research to find the right holster for it - wanted to get the ammunition down first. I would like to pocket carry, but I feel the CPX may be too wide for that, dunno yet.

I'd really like to try pocket carry as well, the width of the CPX-2 is the only drawback I can see.

You may want to check out this site: http://www.sccyforum.com/
There are postings on both, ammo and holsters. I went with the AceCase, and like it. YMMV Bob |
