Need collector's help with old FN .25 ACP

Hi Everyone,
I found this pistol in my 90 year old father's desk a few months ago while cleaning out his house. He has vascular dementia and doesn't remember anything about it.

He was not a gun person and I assume he bought it for my mother because he travelled a lot. I know it still works, because I fired it. I cleaned it and I'm now looking to trade it for something more practical like a Glock or a 1911

Can anyone give any idea as to where I can find a value of something like this?

Kindest regards

Hi your picture did not come up. I assume its either a FN 1905 or a baby browning. Please try posing pics again.

If the other side looks as good, value would be $400 plus.
One day, after you have traded it, you will regret getting rid of it.
First- it was mom and dad's.
Second, it's old and in very good condition.
Third, it's an FN (Browning design) gun.
Fourth, they don't make them any more.
Save your money up and buy a Glock or 1911. Put the little FN away.

Nice gun. I think $400 plus is very high. Remember 100s of thousands of these were made. I would pay $300 for it probably, but would want the purse! I wonder what my friends would say if I carried it in a purse? Probably the same thing(s) they say already

VWSig, if you were in Houston I'd take you up on it.

I already have a G17, G34 and G21. My daughter asked for my G19 and I miss it. I really do not care for any subcompacts.

I'm not attaching any emotional value to the pistol because it wasn't something that my Dad valued or had any attachment to it. I didn't even know he had it. I doubt it the gun had ever been fired before I did it.

I have lots of other personal things that really meant a lot to him and to me. I'm not really a collector, I just like to shoot.
