Iver Johnson Supershot sealed eight mfg date

Looking for the born-on date for my I.J. sealed eight ser # L 92XX

Assuming that your revolver is the top break and not the solid frame version, the date of manufacture is 1934.

A picture would help, or at least a better description. IJ made both solid frame and top break guns called "Sealed Eight."

Yes, it is a Top break 22 Supershot Sealed Eight... so that serial # was from 1934, right? I will get a picture of it as soon as I can. It has an adjustable rear sight, round barrel, nice wood grip- not many marks.
