Early Christmas Present - eTrax Summit HC

My wife is a really hip chick. I got turned around last year in the Sam Houston Nat. Forest. I was "afearing" having to sleep under a log, but I finally made it back to camp at nightfall. I've been planning to get a trail GPS all year in prep for this weekend's public land hunt, but money has been uber tight. Even had to sell a gun late last year.

Wifey comes home last night and hands me a box and says, "Merry Christmas".

Garmin Summit HC!

Now I have 1 day to learn how to use the sucker. I had no idea they had so many features.

Any tips?

I have a Garmin Legend and love it. We got the computer disc for topo maps and I would VERY highly recomend it. So many details, its great. Yours may be new enough you dont need the disc, but check it out. Bad part is, its a $100 or so.
If you can find someone with the disc, just load your GPS off their computer if they'll let you. Enjoy.
