Who is C. Finley-Firearm Engraver?
I bought a beautifully engraved Marlin Commemorative .22 rifle from a gun shop here in northern Indiana about 4 years ago. It is signed C. Finley "96". I was wondering if anyone knew of him? Nothing on the net last time I checked. The work is way above average. Complete coverage with gold inlays.
I hate safe queens, but I bought this for a song and gave it to myself as my retirement present...Nobody else would....John |

Post this over on engraverscafe.com. Might have to join to post pics. There's a ton of people on there, someone might have info. Goatwhiskers

Johnbt:
Thank you for finding my engraver. I have looked on the net 4 or 5 times but never had any luck. I viewed his album and was even more impressed. The man has lots of talent and I am fortunate to have a piece of his work. John.... |
