Jan/ Feb

Gentleman, Just read the Jan/Feb issue of SWAT. I work a 12-8 AM Shift and am able to read on the job. All I can say is OUTSTANDING guys. You managed to pack a ton of good info with a minimum of sales pitch into one teriffic issue. Actually, I even enjoy the advertising. Thanks for the maximum effort in turning out a quality magazine. Especially enjoyed the "What Makes the 1911 Not Tick" piece and the 2 Jeff Gonzalez contributions. Merry Christmas to all of ya. gd

Ticking .45

I agree on the .45 auto nuts and bolts information article. Good reading and timely, based on the amount of discussion on the topic on the forums and questions users have posted.

Of all the rags I subscribe to, I look forward to SWAT the most.

I just wish I could make each issue last longer!! [story of my life as I get older....]

Well, we can't make an issue "last longer"; but we can increase the number of issues in a year. Starting November '05, we plan to go monthly.

Gentlemen, if you'll go monthly with the magazine, let me know when to send and I'll buy a subscription. I've hemmed and hawwed on the issue, but SWAT is the only magazine that I can rely on for updates on gear and tactics. And I especially appreciate how you folks don't pull punches. I'll never forget that review of the shotgun-ar15 adapter that went to print with a less-than-favorable review. Very impressive, to say the least.

A copy in my mailbox every month? I don't know that it could get any better than that, unless you include a box of 9mm FMJ with the magazine.

Glad you like them

GD,

Glad you liked the articles. They have prompted some great discussions and some not so great discussions, but overall I am really happy with them.

Happy New Year to all.

Later,

Just wanted to jump in as well.
I've let every other gun-related subscription go...except SWAT. The publication is first rate, since the regime change, and I've yet to receive a "dud" issue.
Thank you to all the quality people involved...your efforts are appreciated.
