Speed loader
I have a Sig Sauer P226 LR 22. Does anyone know if they make a speed loader or where I can order one that will fit this magazine? I tried to look but have been unsuccessful.
Thanks. |

I'm a big fan of my Maglula mag loaders, I have a couple in both sizes for loading mags in cold weather when numb fingers make loading more difficult, even painful.
My wife likes them a lot as they make loading so much easier for her, too. http://www.maglula.com/ They can be found lots of places, like amazon or top gun supply. They are designed to work with most common pistol mags. Ooooh, I see they come in pink now! Last edited by Sparks1957; October 6, 2012 at 06:21 PM. |

UpLULAs are great but may not work with this pistol.
The potential issue is that the central "beak" or "tab" of the standard UpLULA is too large for a .22LR mag, but the smaller Baby UpLULA does not work with mag bodies over 1/2" wide. (I don't know the width of the P226 .22LR mag.) The Maglula website advertises a forthcoming .22LR-specific "22UpLULA" for >1/2" .22LR mags, but it's not available until November.

you may try a modified uplula, such as for the cz kadet..
there are DIY instructions, or you can look for ones modified by den stinnett on the cz forum, look in either the kadet section, or the sale forums.. its some of the best $$ I have spent on a accessory.. and worth the price.. pretty much loads most mags except the really slanted 22 type like a hi standard, colt woodsman, buck mark, or mk iii.. |
