And what will be your first acquisition?

I got my 03 FFL and have not decided what to buy yet....
I might get a 91/30 just to get things started.

I don't know - to this point I've been given a 91/38 and a CZ-52 and bought a 91/30 retail. My wish list includes a K31, M91/44, M95, K98 Mauser, 1903 Spr., PA63, and Nagant 1895. It also includes an SKS and Makarov 9x18, but I'm not clear on whether they qualify.

I'm curious just how much the C&R opens things up for me.

I’d recommend the K31 – in addition to being an outstanding rifle availability may be becoming an issue. I would recommend next the Yugo SKS and the CZ 82.

Enjoy!

C&R

I decided not to get a C&R. It was too easy to go broke just retail. I did find some interesting pieces in my travels. My favorites include my twin (almost) Colt 1903 pistols and my Polish Radom Vis 35. My wish list includes paying off some debt. Be careful.

The guns on my Wish List will be acquired - it's just a matter of time and availability (and continued employment, of course).

I already have a CZ-52 and have access to a 9mm CZ-52 and a CZ-75B. I omitted the SKS from the Wish List listing because I'm not sure of its C&R status.

The K31 is very high on the list.

Some SKS rifles are C&R eligible, others aren't.

Most Chinese aren't. Most Russian ones are. All Albanian and Yugo M59 and 59/66 ones specifically are. As always, IANAL/TINLA: Check the list.

I've got my application sitting on my desk. Just waiting for the bills to even out since my move so that I can get is filed.

FWIW - My C&R finally arrived 10/11. For those curious how long it takes I can say "mine took 7 1/2 weeks". Right at 52 days.

Now to start a-copyin' and a-faxin'...
