How many rounds a month do you shoot

Hello, i think i may be in the minority here but here it goes, i shoot at least 4 cylinders a range sesson, i go to the range at least 4 days a week sometimes 5, so doing the math that equals to 384 rounds a month progaby a little more, at around 21 cents a round that comes to $80.64 a month, i got to either slow down shooting or start casting my own bullets, get a tap a cap, make my own black powder, the only one of the three things i can probaly do is the tap a cap, pghrich

I think you are talking about the old "Tap a Cap". They haven't been made in a while. If you can find some let me know. I'd love to have one.

Not that many, probably in the range of between 80 and 100 per month.

None right now, when I get back to texas probably something to the tune of $50-100 worth a month. Got a lot of guns that need love though, most are black powder but a couple are fancy smokeless shooters.

Both wife and I Shoot Cowboy Action and Western 3 Gun twice a month, that's 200 rounds of .38 right there. Shoot the 25 yard bullseye range weekly for another 100+ rounds of .45, .38, and/or 9mm.

About 300+ rounds a month.
Love my LEE single stage press!

How many rounds a month do you shoot. Let me count the ways.

I have a membership to a club range located 30 minuets from my home. Being retired. I've set aside one day a week to enjoy one of my favorite hobby's. And while there are allowed to reload ammo in a facility built to accommodate us members who choose too. Having that privilege not only allows me to fine tune my weapons accuracy. It also increase's the amount of time I spend there. Thus I shoot more. I also rotate my weapons I take along on my range visits. One visit its Center fire Rifle time: 35-40 rds. Next visit it's: 3 or 4 rounds of Trap. Then on another visit I may feel the need to spark-up that Ol' Traditional Smoke Pole of mine. Black powder: I'll will burn thru 1/4 to 1/3 lb of Gorex 2FF pretty easy on a single trip. How many Balls I fire down range? Maybe around>20. Not much interest do I have anymore in handgun shooting. But in saying that. Doesn't suggest in any way I don't know how to use one._

About 100 rounds per SD gun per monthly range range trip. I don't reload and ammo has gotten too costly to do more than one range trip per month.

How many rounds a month?

Not as many as I'd like to, that's for sure.

I bet I'm putting 500 rounds down range a month, give or take.

When I take the AR out for a range trip it sure chews through ammo in a hurry. Those thirty round magazines combined with semi-auto are real money hogs.

Due to medical procedures and surgery I haven't dropped a hammer on a live round since last Nov.

I'm better. I'm back at work and am getting stronger. I'm sure I could shoot a pistol now, I just haven't. The mere thought of firing a rifle right now makes me hurt tho. I've got to get on the ball with it soon tho cuz deer season is coming.

A yearly average probably comes out to about 500-600 a month.

I went out yesterday and shot the 51 Navy. I had just gotten three chambers loaded when it started to rain. I went ahead and loaded the other three and shot my target. It was for a contest on another forum, best group at 25 yards offhand. I had a nice 1 5/8 group going but I guess my last two chambers got wet cuz those weren't as strong and went way high on the target

I don't think that I could say that I shoot my .45 colt monthly. When I do eventually go shooting though I do shoot quite a few rounds. I guess I could shoot weekly if I rationed out my ammo better.

Ain't that the truth. I just got my first 5.56 rifle and burned through $80 in ammo in no time. I normally shoot around 500 per month but most of that is normally bulk .22

Average of three CAS and one Wild Bunch match each month comes to 300 pistol, 240 rifle and 125 shotgun. Add three big matches at 300 pistol, 300 rifle and 125 shotgun. Rounded off that's about 8000 total rounds per year.
