Ak questions

I am wanting to buy an AK and have been looking around online. I read a lot of strong views about the WASR 10s or certain countries to avoid because of accuracy and reliability with magazines. I have read good things about bulgarians or mak90s being better overall guns. But I talk yo guys at gun shops and they all say any $500 or less ak is just as good as another, and not to worry about it unless you are spending around 8 or $900.

What do yall think? He has a mak90 for 350 with no dimples... (Which I also read to avoid) or there are some polish ones for around $500 online. What do yall think?
