Physical Conflict Resolution (PCR)

Physical Conflict Resolution (PCR)
All applicable strategies and techniques needed by law enforcement officers to operate in close proximity to a wide variety of potential threats if those threats become physically non-compliant or overtly aggressive.

This is NOT a check the box course. You will have significant, repeatable results following this course of instruction. For the serious only.

Course will be lead by former Navy SEAL, Ken J. Good. This course is the result of nearly 20 years of close interaction with police officers during close quarter conflict force-on-force training and operations.

The course is specifically designed to teach you how to effectively deal with threats using a minimum of force, without using excessive power, levers, pain compliance found in many other approaches. Your actions will look good to the general public in the process. Former skeptical often long-time DT instructors have been some of our most pleased clients. Core principles are based on the principles of Aiki-jujutsu and Russian Martial Arts (RMA) Systema.

Officers are given a 256 page Instructor Handbook (Hardcopy & CD-ROM which includes the handbook in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF format as well as high-quality PowerPoint presentation/review of principles and techniques delivered throughout the week)

See: Strategos International Courses for more details and course flyer.

See: Testimonies to view comments regarding this approach.

This course is specfically designed and focuses on the requirements facing law enforcement officers.

A mix and match class normally does not work very well.

If you are already working with a department that is hosting one of these courses in some training related capcity we make some exceptions.

I wish I has a more acceptable answer for you.

If you are really motiviated we can do a custom class for you and a group of your friends that deals with civil self-defense issues.

Pardon while I decide whether to chuckle or upchuck.

Mannlicher,

Not sure why you don't understand the difference between the functions of a law enforcement officer and a person that does not roll out of a squad car.

Maybe you regularly carry a baton, O/C, pistol, and handcufffs and work in a team environment with the specific purpose of controlling potenitally violent threats using only the approprieate level of force dictated by departmental polices and procedures. Then you escort those threats to your local jail.

I don't know...

Distinct skill sets.

I you want to have a serious discussion, I would be glad to participate.

If not, I will not answer a fool according to his folly.

its the "mix and match" stuff, and the line about "looking good to the general public" that amuses me. I guess you guys do have a public image problem.

Serious discussion, I don't think that is possible.
