durned ole Doc Hoy..

since Doc told me, my 1971-- 1851 brasser was only worth what I paid for it, I thought I would throw some spit on it and say " thanks Doc" I like them shiny anyway..

Can anyone tell me what the stamp is on the bootox??? NOT the ITALY stamp either... thanks..--maybe a-- BLG???

the other question... There is a 64 stamped on every piece--- but it does not match the serial number?????

Oh I like em shiny too....

Brass is meant for shining.

Someone will recall that logo. I think it was "Sebou" who helped us out the last time.

I recall an explanation for the 64 as well. Assembler's mark or sumpin like that?

The last time I remember that we had this one come up.... I think the latest info was provided by Ricko and he said:
Quote:
The best information that I've been able to dig up indicates that this logo is "LGB" and stands for Luciano Giacosa of Brescia, Italy.
And prior to that, Sebou said:
Quote:
Regarding the search about GLB, it appears that coulb be :
Giacosa Luciano Brescia who started Euromanuarms .
So I think maybe Ricko has a good answer for it.

Springfield

Don't worry about parts.

Depending upon what breaks you will need to do a little final fitting on parts even if they were made specifically for that pistol.

It is the Italians' way of getting us back for WW II.

And Oh BTW

The logo on the heel makes it unlikely it is a kit.

Could be but not likely.

What Beagle said +1 Whether you call it BLG, or LGB, Luciano Giacosa of Brescia is the most likely manufacturer
