When I add the mag extension for the 870 EXP HD, most likely Scattergun technologies, I have pretty much what I want. A long-lasting shotgun and more than 4 shots.
BUT I REALLY like the look of the Marine Magnum. Is there anything else in the MM that the 870 EXP HD is lacking in? Also, what is included in the Wilson Combat refurbishing package? Thanks for the help |

Be aware that Wilson won't work on a shotgun that has been modified from factory configuration and...
Have you ever considered the Remington 870 Police Magnum? I have the 18" Improved Cyl with 7 shot extension Parkerized-- I added the MMC protected ghostring and a frontsight and rounded over the recoil pad- I couldn't be more pleased with the results... |

I've got one, sort of...
I bought the Marine Magnum, and sent it off to Hans
to do his work on. He replaced nearly everything: new mag extension, new barrel, new stock, new sights, new fore end, sidesaddle, a few other bits and pieces. The result is a fantastic HD shotgun, with the high- capacity magazine, that also looks great. The contrast between the nickel receiver and the rest of the gun which is all matte black looks great, imho. Also, I know that all the internals are nickel plated, which offers a little bit more corrosion resistance. I would say, go for it! Why get the ordinary version when you could get the Marine Magnum? Hans set it up with MMC tritium GR sights, which I really like, and it also has a Surefire flashlight fore end, which is great. Now if only Surefire would make a Milinium series fore end for the 870... Contact me at [email protected] if you have some questions about it. |

CSOs Rock, Remember the advice of an old and wise CSO who once said "If you have the desire and the funding, buy it!" I know you've been drooling over than Marine Magnum. Just accept your fate

I'd have to agree with AAChang here. I foresee a Marine Magnum in your future. Stick with Remington though.
