.300 Savage Reloading
I am having problems with loose cast bullets in my .300 Savage reloads. Even using a Lee press, dies, and a crimp die. Suggestions ? Thanks, George

You may be crimping too much.

I've had the same problem in the past, with other calibers. Look for a build-up of gunk on your expander ball. It may be resizing the neck just a tad too large when you pull it through. Take the die apart, and clean it thoroughly.
Another thought: Are you flaring your case mouth? If not, the edge of the brass might be shaving a little lead? With cast bullets, that case mouth should be flared just enough that the bullet can be put inserted without shaving lead. |

Another issue with the .300 Savage and cast bullets is the very short neck. It doesn't afford much in the way of bullet support, and if you're using a bullet with wide grease grooves, bullet stability can be a problem.
I had my best success with bullets with multiple narrow grease grooves. Lee calls them Micro Band bullets.
