Odd light fore-end question
ON my 14 inch pump 870 clone was wondering if I would be possible to mount a surefire? The light would hang out beyond the barrel would it get blown off? or damaged? My tube mag holds 5 ends exactly at the end of the barrel as where my pump ends during cycling..any thoughts on this one?

How far forward does it go?

hmmmm, I've seen mag extensions that extend about 2-3 inches past the barrel, but they are thinner than the lights. Well, a cylinder bore will spread out quick, but I don't if it spreads out THAT quick. Hmmmmm, I'm no expert, just a shotgunner. I would hate to buy a nice attachment like that and have it be shot off though.
Hey, here's an idea. Make a dummy out of cardboard and see if you can fire the gun without it getting blown off.

Contact Surefire. I am sure the question has come up before.

yeah thanks I will do that...it would be a real pain If the blast of the slugs I use ripped up or burnt a new light.
