Knoxx com stock

I just put a new folding stock by Knoxx industries on my 590 mossberg.
This is the one with the spring in it to reduce recoil. All I can say is amazing.
Slugs and other heavy recoil loads are now totally comfortable to shoot.
Highly recomended.

bought it at a gun show for $109.00.
They have a web sight , search knoxx indutries or something like that.
I bought it from Oak Grove arms in Minnesota

My friend has one on his 500 persuader. It really is an amazing thing being able to shoot countless 12ga shells without a shoulder pad.

I understand the factory is redesigning the hinge so it doesn't dig into your thumb knuckle any more.

I may have to get one of those compstocks for my 500A. I just ordered the Sidewinder unit with 10 round drum mag from them yesterday by phone/credit card.

If I could get one for about $75, I wouldn't hesitate. Once things start costing more than a Benjamin, restraint starts becoming an issue....

Personally, I think the SpecOps stock looks really sexy!

If it's only half as good at reducing recoil as they claim, it's worth it! And the telescoping stock with pistol grip just looks cool too. Don't know if it's available here though, as Knoxx don't seem to do international sales.

I agree, that SpecOps looks better. The only thing about the CopStock is the thick wire tends to dig in your shoulder after a while.

Then again, my friend and I were shooting clays with it...not exactly what it was intended for.

Well, right now, my Mossberg has a pistol grip only - so even a wire stock will be a welcome addition!

The problem i have with the wire folder is that it wont work with a side saddle and it wont fold with a scope in place.

My Copstock arrived. I really like the way it looks and feels on the shotgun. It seems to be just about the right length for me. It's also very easy/quick to deploy.

Unfortunately, I might not get a chance to shoot with it for a few more days

Know what's funny? As you were posting that message, I was out at the range, firing my Mossberg 500 one-handed.

I gotta say, you guys make a cool product. I expended many shells of 12-gauge, and never felt that pain in the webbing of my hand that was characteristic of the pistol grip that came with the Mossberg Cruiser. It really does reduce recoil as advertised.

My only complaint would be that it's not terribly light, and adds some weight to the shotgun. However, it's obvious that this is because the stock is extremely tough. It seems as well-made as the shotgun itself. Being 6'4 and 220 lbs, it didn't bother me as much as it might some...

Anywho... I consider it money well-spent.

We do try to make the best product available. Shooting a shotgun one-handed has become our trademark. It is so funny to watch other shooters when you do it. Their mouths hang open and they act like you are superman or something. Have fun with the COPstock and thanks for the test report.

Question on the basic Knoxx Comp Stock? Their website says it has adjustablefor length of pull. When I called up to vertify, they said it did not - only the SpecOps model. So which is it? And if the Comp Stock's LOP IS adjutable, what are the specs? I need 13 in or shorter. Thanks.

The CompStock has a nominal LOP of 13-1/2" and can be extended by 1" but not shortened. We are limited by the size of the internal recoil reduction mechanism. The SpecOps is adjustable from 11-1/4 to 15-1/2" (you must remove the 1/2" buttpad to get down to 11-1/4"). BTW, I'm the person you spoke with when you called. I just reread the entire CompStock page and couldn't find any reference to LOP. If I mised it please let me know.
