I need a load for .223 with a 60 gr bullet using Varget.

The manuals I have don't show a load for 60 gr using Varget. If anyone has the Hodgdon or Hornady, manual that shows this load, Ill really appreciate if you can post the starting and max load.

Thanks, Best of luck....Cag

bk40, Thanks. I have a load for 55 grs. It's 60 grs. that I'm looking for. I think that there might be some difference.
Best of luck....Cag

I checked out their web site at www.Hodgdon.com. but I could not find any 60 grain listed. Neither is Varget listed for 60 grain in the Lee or Sierra manual. You can try calling the Sierra reloading hotline at 1-800-223-8799 they might be able to help.
Good luck.

sgtar15, Thanks for your help. I'm getting some load data from Hornady. I sent them an e mail and they are going to mail me some data. I also got a load at another board from a Hornady manual. I appreciate your help and once again thanks.

Best of luck....Cag

Cag,

Just looked in Hodgdon's No 27 Data Manual, and they show 24.5 grains of Varget for 63 grain SIE.SP bullet with a Win SR primer. MV 3000 fps, Max load is 26.4 with a MV of 3199 fps. This is the only load they show for any bullet weight that is close to your rqmt of 60grains with Varget. They do show a couple of loads for a 60 grain SIE HPBT bullet, but they are using Reloader 12 & 15.

Hope this helps.
