Well friends I finally got a chance today to go to my private range out in our sugar cane field and "unload" about 100 30-06's loaded with 173 grain cast GC bullets ahead of 42 grains of IMR 4895. Did not have the time to bring my chrony with me, but I do know even without it that they are over 2000 FPS. They "unloaded" just fine.going into 1 1/2" at 100 yards in my old customized 4 groove 03A3. I cast out of pure linotype so it took exactly 3 patches and the bore shines like new..no leading whatsoever. Next time I hope to have more time and will chrony the loads. If anyone wants more info on it just shoot me an e-mail.
