Canine Users?

How many here use dogs to hunt with? Not big game, but for birds?

How many dog users would not bird hunt if it wasn't for the dog aspect of it? In other words, no dog, no hunting.

We are Hunters !!

I have hunted without and over Brittanies as well as German Shorthairs. It all comes together when you have a good hunting dog and feel as if the Big Guy meant it that way. It's sheer poetry watching a dog work his butt off for you. ..

Given that, I'd still hunt if I did not have a dog. The Quail got all wiped out by weather and preditors. The Pheasant moved from Iowa to South Dakota and now that we have a Dove season, you don't need a dog for that. ....

Be Safe !!!
