mossberg 900?

I was talking to my uncle and he told me he bought a glock 17 and a mossberg 900 riot shotgun at a gunshow. What is a mossberg 900? I may have heard him wrong but it isn't a 500 because it holds 4+1 shells. Anyway it seemed like a cool gun and I just wanted some info.

More than likely he was either mistaken and meant to say a 500 model or perhaps he said Mossberg 9200. The 9200 or "Jungle Gun" was a semi-automatic, "riot" type shotgun that Mossberg built in the late 80s or early 90s. It was allegedly built for a military contract or perhaps just military use. Anyway, it was 4+1 I think. Just a guess on my part......

Contact mossberg about this one, they recalled alot of their older auto shottys a few years back, make sure this one is safe.
