Wildalaska

Guys,

I went all the way up to Anchorage from Texas last week just to stop by and see Ken at Wild West Guns. Actually I was on a fishing trip and ran by the store before I had to fly back home. Ken took the time to show me and my father around the store (by the way, if anyone has an extra $30,000 laying around, Ken has a nice old Colt revolver he will sell you) and even took us out back to the shop where all the magic happens.

By the way those HK P7's should be on the way soon, I saw them with my own two eyes .

But this is the best part, we had an extremely bad experience with our fishing guide and Ken has even helped me out with that. Ken and the rest of the guys (and gal) at Wild West are great people and a great resource to the members of TFL. Everyone on the list should own at least one firearm purchased from them!

Ken, thanks again for the hospitality and the help!

WA, I'd never let that stand in the way. Otherwise I'd have no friends. Maybe for my retirement trip next year. I haven't been up to AK since 90 and would really like to see it again.........................before I have to start that second career.
Sorry for the hijack Barber

I'm all for that. Spiff has said if we swing by the bar he bounces at we could all have free drinks for as many days as we are there.

What bar is that? I may have missed out on some free drinks.

Think I could get a refund?

Yeah, free drinks, unless you are white. If you are white, you pay double!

Well since the only reason (s) i can see to make the trip to AK is to meet the crew up there ( oh and pass shoot the mosquitoes like skeet ) i will pass on the trip , but if any of the crew gets to colorado i have a lot of land to shoot on , some interesting toys that i can access , or we can just set under a shade tree and drink beer lol . I wont comment on the white or not since i am pretty much a mutt genetically .

heheh, redneck, my bar is mostly patronized by natives, with a lot of polynesians as well. Caucasians tend to avoid it because most natives still haven't forgiven whitey.

No, downtown Anchorage on 4th.

Redneck, yeah, sounds like you'd be welcome and fit right in.

Watch out there Rednck, Spiff is 350 pounds in body armour but only 5"3" tall with a 15 inch inseam. The barrel of his Kimber sits halfway down his leg! Ya ought to see him taking out 400 pound 8 foot tall Samoan guys, he just sort of rolls on their ankles like a bowling ball hitting a 10 pin!

I'll try and get some pics up this week of Spiff shooting 600 yards with a Garand, did ya know he wears thongs from Nordstroms? O well if Ed Wood could hit the beach at Tarawa wearing angora under his junglies, the Spiff can shoot wearing designer undies!

Let's see, It is almost 1:30 pm on 4th Street right now and the tourists are almost as thick as the mosquitos. We made the mistake of being downtown on a Saturday, during the Juneteenth celebration, and when the downtown open market was in full swing. Wow what a bunch. Next time I am going up when it is dark!

Have T-Shirts made that say "In Alaska Your Right To Keep and Bear Arms is Protected?"...or someone want to give me a better slogan?

Carry our ARs?
